Vadim Gurinov Becomes New President of Stroytransgaz

On August 22, the Board of Directors of Stroytransgaz elected Vadim Alexandrovich Gurinov as the company's President. His predecessor, Sergey Makarov, who had held the office from May 2010, has resigned. Vadim Gurinov is a member of STG’s Board of Directors and holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors in Cordiant JSC. Up to the present day he was General Director of “Russkoe More – Dobycha” LLC.

Between 1997 and 2003, he held top management positions in different Russian FMCG companies. In 2003, Mr. Gurinov was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Trading House “SIBUR − Russian Tyres”, and later in 2007, as a member of SIBUR Holding (OAO) Management Board. In 2008, he was appointed as a Management Board member of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Between 2006 and 2011 Mr. Gurinov held the post of Chief Executive Officer in “SIBUR − Russian Tyres” OJSC.

Vadim Gurinov was born in 1971. He graduated from Saint-Petersburg Institute of Precision Mechanics and Optics (Optical Devices and Systems) and Saint-Petersburg Finance and Economics Institute (Economics Department). He also studied CEO Programme at INSEAD (France). In 2007, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation awarded him with a lapel badge “For the Construction of Automotive Equipment”.
