Before Alexander Yeremin joined PJSC Stroytransgaz, he had worked for Joint-Stock Financial Corporation Sistema as the Director of the “Developing Assets” business unit projects. In 2010-2011 he was Deputy Director General of OJSC “Regions Development” for finance and investments. In 2007-2010 Alexander Yeremin held the office of vice-president for corporate finance at KIT Finance Investment Bank. In 2005-2007 he was director for corporate finance and investments at Arkley Capital (Luxembourg), the company managing the assets of Chelpipe Group.

Alexander Yeremin was born on April 16, 1973 in Kirov, Kaluga Region. In 1995 he graduated from Moscow State University of Railway Engineering (MIIT) majoring in Engineering Cybernetics, with honours, and in 2000 graduated from Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation, also with honours, majoring in Finance and Credit. Married, with three children.
