Vadim Gurinov is re-elected a member of RSPP Board

STG PJSC General Director Vadim Gurinov was re-elected a member of the Board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP). Re-election took place on 20th March as part of the annual RSPP Congress attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In accordance with the organisation’s charter, the new Board included 150 representatives of Russia’s leading companies. Alexander Shokhin was re-elected Head of the All-Russian organisation representing the interests of the business community in Russia and worldwide.

The RSPP Congress is one of the most important events for the Russian business, which identifies key areas of activity of the business community for years to come. The need for the RSPP as a designer, expert and platform in shaping socio-economic policies has dramatically increased over the last years.

On 20th March, the congress discussed the issues of deoffshorisation of the national economy, enhancement of business transparency, increasing labour productivity and improvement of labour laws and investment climate.

During the congress, in the presence of the Russian President, the representatives of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Business Russia, Opora Rossii, RSPP and CIC signed an agreement of cooperation in preparing and holding a national rating of the investment climate status in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The RSPP sees its mission in consolidating the efforts of Russian industrialists and entrepreneurs, aimed to improve the business environment, raise the status of the Russian business nationwide and globally and maintain the balance of interests of society, government and business.

The Union is involved in on-going practical work, holding conferences on pressing economic problems at high national level, which are attended by representatives of the Russian and foreign business communities as well as by heads of federal government bodies. These forums result in decisions made at national levels in the area of business and entrepreneurship in Russia.
