Oleg Shiryaev is appointed as Deputy General Director for Operating Activities of STG Management Company

Oleg Vladimirovich Shiryaev was appointed as Deputy General Director for operating activities of STG Management Company. His key focus in the new position will be on enhancing the efficiency of production operations of STG PJSC and its business units STG LLC, STGM LLC and others.

Before joining STG Group, Oleg Shiryaev managed the area of developing management systems for major investment projects at McKinsey&Company, a leading international consulting company that specialises in handling tasks related to strategic governance.

One of the key activity areas Oleg Shiryaev dealt with at McKinsey, which employed him since 2006, was implementing investment management projects and building capital construction management systems for leading Russian and international companies, and for federal authorities. O. Shiryaev is highly experienced in dealing with companies of the oil and gas sector, power generation, metallurgy and other industries.

Before he came to McKinsey, Oleg Shiryaev had headed the Russian division of a major international chemico-pharmaceutical company. Oleg Shiryaev received education at Duke University, USA.

“As STG’s operations director, I see my key goal as building a world-level project management system. For this ambitious goal to be achieved, the project management process will have to be substantially changed, beginning from the project selection and proposal preparation stage to the date of obtaining all guarantee withholdings,” Oleg Shiryaev remarked.
