STG will take part in the 18th Petersburg International Economic Forum

The 18th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) started in St. Petersburg and will run until May 24. The event will be attended by a delegation of STG including Gleb Frank, a member of the Board of Directors of STG, Vadim Gurinov, STG General Director, Alexander Eremin, Managing Director for Strategic Development of STG, and Mikhail Khryapov, STG Managing Director for Power Construction.

“This time, the Forum is dedicated to a very important topic: Building Trust in an Era of Change. In the context of currently occurring rapid geopolitical, technological and structural changes, such choice is not accidental,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his message to the event participants.

SPIEF program this year is built around a few major themes which include “Risk Management for stimulating the growth”, “Unleashing Russia’s competitive potential”, “Management of breakthrough technologies and adapting to changes”, and “Russia-China: Strategic Economic Partnership”.

Every year, the number of participants of the Forum exceeds 4,000 persons who come from more than 60 countries. Heads of states and governments, representatives of the national and international business elite, leading experts traditionally attend the extensive program of its events. The discussions are always held on the most pressing problems facing Russia and the world. The key mission of the Forum is to be a practical tool for business to allow overcoming the barriers, both geographical and informational ones, separating Russia from other countries.
