Vadim Gurinov made a working visit to China

Fr om May 20 to 21, Vadim Gurinov, CEO of Stroytransgaz Management Company (MC STG), made a working visit to the People's Republic of China.

During his visit to PRC, Vadim Gurinov attended a number of business events with the participation of representatives of the Russia's largest business and Chinese business elite, wh ere they discussed the prospects of cooperation, including the one in the construction industry. The events were held as part of the official visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to China.

At the invitation of the Russian-Chinese Investment Fund (RCIF), Vadim Gurinov took part in the Russian-Chinese business breakfast held in Shanghai on May 20. RCIF was founded by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), together with the China Investment Corporation (CIC), to make investments mainly in the territory of Russia. The capital of RCIF is $ 2 billion. More than 70% of the Fund’s capital will be invested in the projects in Russia and other CIS countries, and up to 30% in Chinese projects involving Russian companies. At the business meeting in Shanghai, in addition to STG, Russian business was represented by OJSC Rossetti, OJSC RusHydro, Basic Element and other leading Russian companies.

One of the key events at which the head of the STG made a speech, was the meeting of Kingdom Club. This international business club was founded in China in 2005 and includes representatives of 50 leading Chinese and foreign companies. The event was organized under the auspices of the Russian-Chinese Business Council (RCBC) and was held with the participation of Gennady Timchenko, the owner of Volga Group and Co-Chairman of RCBC from Russia. During the visit of Gennady Timchenko to China, Volga Group and the Chinese Port Construction Company signed a memorandum of cooperation.
