STG will provide road surface markings in all districts of Moscow Oblast

STG LLC shall perform application and restoration of road surface markings in Moscow Oblast. The State-Financed Institution of Moscow Oblast (SFI MO) Mosavtodor shall act as the Customer.

Within the framework of the project STG shall act as the General Contractor. The company shall provide application and restoration of road surface markings on the road sectors of over 11,000 km long, located in all 36 districts of Moscow Oblast.

The work involves subcontracting organizations that specialize in carrying out works on road traffic safety (road surface marking, sign boarding, guard rails, speed bumps installation etc.).

Road surface marking is applied stage-wise according to the customer's project work plans.

For the purposes of road surface marking application modern road marking paint with light-reflective additive, thermoplastic, tape (cold) plastic, special polymer tape, acrylic paint, enamels etc.

Pigment selection depends on the road priority (major or secondary), pavement quality, and degree of wear and tear of the roadway.

All substances to be spread undergo quality control in the Customer’s laboratory, because road surface marking is a crucial element of security, vehicle traffic management and regulation. It not only allows increasing the road capacity, but also helps reduce the number of traffic accidents by 30%.

STG shall provide road surface markings complying with the following requirements:

• clear view at any time of day or night and in all weather conditions;
• resistance to temperature difference, mechanical and abrasive stress, meteorological and chemical resistance;
• wear resistance and durability (subject to the standard road surface markings should retain its properties for at least 6 months in case of proper operation).
  
• required grip of wheel degree.

SFI MO Mosavtodor acts as the Public Customer as regards maintenance and repair of public roads of regional or inter-municipal significance for Moscow Oblast and facilities thereon.
