STG-Eco will provide environmental support during complex renovation of North Caucasian railway sections

STG-Eco LLC, a member of Stroytransgaz Group, entered into a contract with UK Transyuzhstroy LLC for environmental support during complex renovation of North Caucasian railway sections (SKZD is a branch of RZD OJSC).

Within the framework of this project, STG-Eco will develop environmental documentation for the complex renovation of Taman Peninsula lines and M.Gorkogo-Kotelnikovo-Tikhoretskaya-Krymskaya section, passing by the Krasnodar joint in the territory of Krasnodar krai, Rostov and Volgagrad oblasts. Second main tracks will be built, running lines will be extended, railway stations will be renovated, utilities will be rearranged, protected and removed, the second main tracks will be electrified at these sections, etc.

Within the framework of the executed contract, STG-Eco will develop draft standards for maximum permissible emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere; draft standards for waste and its allocation limits and passports for I to IV class dangerous wastes. STG-Eco will ensure technical support of all developed environmental documents during its approval at governmental executive bodies.

The work completion is scheduled for 2015.
