STG Eco becomes a general designer of water treatment facilities at Omsk TPP-3

STG Eco, a member of STG Group won a competition and signed a contract with OJSC TGK-11 (100% share controlled by Inter RAO Group) for design of water treatment facilities at Omsk TPP-3.

As a general designer of the water treatment facilities, STG Eco will prepare all sections of the design documents in accordance with Governmental Decree No. 87 “On composition of sections of design documents and requirements to their content”. As part of this project, STG Eco will carry out a pre-plan study of the water balance at TPP-3 and prepare working documents.

The treatment facilities will ensure cleaning of waste waters up to the standard requirements to the quality of water at commercial fisheries. The design will provide for an opportunity of second use of clean water in the technical water supply system at TPP-3, which will reduce consumption of technical water by the station.

Omsk TTP-3 was commissioned in 1954 (electric capacity 370 Mw, thermal capacity 1430 Gcal/h). It is located in the Western industrial area in the Soviet Administrative okrug of Omsk in the territory of 42.83 ha. TPP-3 supplies heat to the regional industrial enterprises, including Sibneft-ONPZ OJSC and OJSC Omsk Kauchuk and to the Sovetsky residential sector and partly Central Administrative okrugs of Omsk.

The development of the design documents will be completed in July 2015.
