Andrey Murov, Chairman of ОАО FGC-UES Board, Has Awarded PJSC “STG” Specialists

On February 24, Andrey Murov, Chairman of ОАО FGC-UES Management Board, awarded 14 specialists of PJSC “Stroytransgaz” in the city of Krasnodar. The employees of PJSC “STG” who made a considerable contribution to the project on construction and reconstruction of the power distribution facilities of Power Unit No. 3 of Rostovskaya NPP received letters of commendation and letters of gratitude.

Within the scope of the project, in the late 2014, “STG” completed construction of the 500 kV overhead line “Rostovskaya NPP – Tikhoretskaya” No. 2 for 1 GW power output in the power system of Kuban. The length of the new overhead line made 360 km. Besides, “STG” upgraded the sections of the existing OHLs totalling a length of about 138 km and four substations.

On February 24, Andrey Murov and Alexander Tkachev, Governor of the Krasnodar Krai, signed a cooperation agreement for the purpose of the Krasnodar Krai energy complex development till the year 2020.

The document provides for the joint implementation of the activities aimed at development of the Unified National Power Grid in the territory of the Krasnodar Krai, prevention of the energy shortages, increase of the power supply reliability to the already existing customers and connection of new customers to the power grids. The said measures will contribute to development of the economic and social spheres in Kuban.

The first-priority measures established by the Agreement include construction of the 220 kV substation “Vostochnaya Promzona” (Eastern Industrial Zone) with the 220 and 110 kV approach OHLs. The 560 MW energy facility is planned for start of operation in 2018. The implementation of the project estimated at 2,4 bln roubles will allow to increase the power supply reliability for the city of Krasnodar and meet the power demand of the rapidly developing industrial infrastructure of the Krai capital. Moreover, by the year 2020 FGC will perform construction of the power grid facilities and technological connection of the power receivers of the potential customers to the newly built lines and substations.
