A meeting on construction of a road junction was held in the town of Lytkarino on May 28

On May 28 in the town of Lytkarino there was held a meeting on construction of Lytkarinskaya road junction with link roads to Novoryazanskoe road of Lytkarino-Zheleznodorozhny highway. The project has been implemented by PJSC STG since December 2014 on order of the Main Public Roads Directorate of the Moscow Region.

The meeting was chaired by Pyotr Ivanov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, Minister of Transport of the Moscow Region. The meeting was attended by Yevgeny Seryogin, Head of the town of Lytkarino, Konstantin Lyashkevich, Head of the Main Public Roads Directorate of the Moscow Region, representatives of construction companies and contractors. The delegation visited the location on the Novoryazanskoe road where the construction will be commenced. The entire route of the junction was reviewed. The issues concerning construction works were discussed.

PJSC STG is implementing the project of construction of a transport junction at the intersection of Lytkarinskoe road and M-5 “Ural” highway. The facility will have from one to five lanes, the main road length will be 2.4 km and the road length including slip roads will be 8.9 km. Engineering structures of the transport junction include three overhead crossings, namely a 96 m crossing at the intersection with M-5 “Ural” highway, a 87 m crossing at slip road No. 2 and a 92 m crossing at Yuzhnaya junction, a 41 m ground pedestrian crossing and a 226 m retaining wall. The total volume of earthworks for construction of the body of the road is over 1.5 mn m3.

According to Pavel Bulkin, Project Director, PJSC STG is currently carrying out works in the northern part of the transport junction at the intersection of Lytkarinskoe road and M-5 “Ural” highway, which include construction of the foundation for the supports of the M-5 overhead crossing, excavation and backfill of soil for construction of the road and overhead crossing at slip road No. 2 and preparatory works for construction of the retaining wall.

The works are carried out according to the schedule set by the Customer. Works completion and putting the road into operation are scheduled for the end of 2016.
