STG took part in Our Forest. Plant Your Tree Campaign

On September 12, Stroytransgaz took part in an eco-campaign - Our Forest. Plant Your Tree, launched by Andrey Vorobyov, Governor of the Moscow region.

The event was held in the region for the second time. This year, it was supported by 550 specialists from road and construction enterprises. They planted over 11,000 seedlings of various shrubs and trees in the streets, parks and forests of the region.

STG representatives planted several hundred seedlings of lilac, ash, apple, birch, maple, fir, oak. In total, representatives of the Main Road Administration, subordinate agencies and commercial enterprises planted more than 6,300 pines, 3,700 firs, 333 birches, 264 oaks and 610 various types of young plants.

“This year, the campaign involved an unprecedented number of road workers in all municipalities of the region. All road enterprises of the Moscow region contributed to planting of trees. Commercial companies that are building roads and overpasses in the region were also very active during the event. Contractors that are building overpasses in Stupino, Dolgoprudnyy, Khimki, Pavlovsky Posad, Odintsovo district, they planted trees as part of compensatory planting. I’d like to thank all participants of this campaign. I hope that all our plants will take root and decorate parks, yards and forests,” said Konstantin Lyashkevich, chief of the Main Road Administration of the Moscow region.
