PJSC Stroytransgaz has released a new video about the stadium construction in Nizhny Novgorod

PJSC Stroytransgaz (STG Group) being the general contractor for the construction of the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium for the World Cup 2018, has released a new video about the construction work progress of the arena.

The main work stages as of February, current year are disclosed in the video: erection of reinforced concrete columns of the second floor and the spectator stands of the first floor, installation of the on-site utility networks and etc. Video also contains the first match in the history of Nizhny Novgorod Stadium, which took place on February 19th. The game was remarkable for the fact that PJSC Stroytransgaz team and fans of “Volga” Football Club played the game booted in valenki.

Now the construction of the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium is being implemented in fast pace, without any lags behind the schedule, which has recently been actualized and approved by the government customer. More than 1000 workers are hired for the construction. The works are being implemented day-and-night. In February concreting of the first layer grandstand structures began and will last till mid April. The second floor will be completed in the end of April.

In 2016 in the area of construction of the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium the public utilities will be completely replaced, and to which the stadium will be subsequently connected in 2017. For this purpose in January of the current year Stroytransgaz started the installation of the on-site utilities. For this purpose more than 10 kilometers of pipes shall be laid within the perimeter of the future stadium. These pipes will serve for water and heating supply, water disposal and storm water discharge.
