PJSC Stroytransgaz released video about the construction of the Volgograd Arena

PJSC Stroytransgaz (STG Group) being the general contractor for the construction of the Volgograd Arena Stadium for the World Cup 2018, has released an official video about the construction work progress of the arena in Volgograd.

The video shows how Volgograd Arena looks like from earth and the bird’s eye view by the beginning of May, 2016, the stadium demonstrates a considerable growth.  PJSC STG showed the main stages of works: the beginning of construction of the stadium’s last floor, start of installation of the metal structures, construction of the first tier of the spectator stands, end of the grading and levelling of the territory in the zone of the roundabout pedestrian platform, construction of supports of the roundabout pedestrian platform and the stairways, etc.

The video included shots about the beginning of the charitable project Navigator which is to be implemented in Volgograd in 2016 at the initiative of PJSC STG. The project aim is to help orphans in choosing the professional career and showing the importance and prestige of the construction and other working professions on the example of the stadium.

PJSC Stroytransgaz shows to the public the progress of construction of the new arena and plans to release similar videos on a regular basis. In summer we will be able to see completed in-situ structures of the Volgograd Arena, both tiers of stands and the bearing metal structures of the stadium — supporting columns on which roofing metal structures will be mounted later.
