“In November we drove the first pile in the foundation of Frunzensky Bridge. Construction of bridges will ensure attraction of the global transport flows for decades ahead. We need to do everything possible to transform the region into a centre of the intersection of two of the most important continental motorways “Europe – Western China,” said Nikolay Ivanovich Merkushin, the Governor of the Samara Region, noting the importance of the project.

“The project implementation is in line with the schedule, everything is going well. Currently we are waiting for further financing of the project to continue the construction of the bridge while keeping the momentum gained. We summoned our best human resources and equipment in Samara, attracted local partners for work and supply of the materials,” noted Mikhail Khryapov, General Director of JSC STG.

Frunzensky bridge crossing includes the construction of several facilities: a reinforced-concrete bridge across the Samara River, a bridge across the Bannoe bog lake and traffic Junctions at Shosseynaya St. and Frunze St.  Commissioning of the facility will allow to debottleneck the traffic in the city and will provide additional link of Kuibyshevsky district with the central part of Samara.
