Stroytransgaz will implement the road marking in the Moscow region

LLC Stroytransgaz has won tenders and signed contracts for performance of works on the road marking application and renewal on the territory of the Moscow region. The customer is State Budgetary Enterprise of the Moscow region Mosavtodor. Total value of the contracts is about 1 billion roubles.

LLC STG will apply and renew the road marking on roads of more than 10 thousand km long. Works on application of linear marking lines (axial and boundary), duplicate road signs, crosswalks and refuge spots will be implemented within the contract. In 2014 and 2015, the Company performed similar projects by order of Mosavtodor.

Modern high quality materials of domestic manufacturers, such as special road enamels, thermoplastic and cold plastic materials will be applied for the road marking. All the materials will pass quality control in the customer’s laboratory. The choice of painting substance depends on the quality of the road surface and on the extent of wear of the road body. Glass balls will be used in order to provide necessary level of light reflection, visibility during night time and to enhance traffic safety.

The road marking is considered to be one of the critical elements for the road traffic safety and improvement. The road marking on a highway not only helps to reduce the accident rate by 30%, but also adds to the throughput capacity of the traffic area.

The technical parameters of the road marking will correspond to all the GOST (state standards) requirements concerning traffic safety control:

  • correspondence of the road marking to the brightness, light return and light reflection coefficients in order to ensure clear visibility at any time of the day and in any weather conditions;
  • geometrical parameters of the road marking;
  • resistance to temperature differences, mechanical and abrasive loads, meteorological and chemical impact;
  • wear resistance and durability (the road marking must retain its properties for at least 6 months contingent on proper use, cold and hot plastic material - for 2 years, spray plastic material - for 1 year).
  • required adhesion of wheels to the road surface.

The completion of works on the project is planned for November 2016.
