Assembly of the stadium facade metal structures is almost finished at the construction site; the readiness degree is 98%. Presently they are enlarging trusses (complex space metal structures) to be installed above the stadium lobby to connect the facade elements with the compression ring. Their installation will ensure the facade stableness after the temporary supporting structures are removed, and make it possible to start assembling the largest cable roof in Russia.

At the same time a number of auxiliary buildings and facilities are in progress (ticket booths, pavilions, entrance lobbies); 6 building out of the total 11 ones have been already accepted for fitting-out. The bypass pedestrian bridge constructions are also in progress.

Utility networks are being installed in the construction site territory and within the stadium. In areas under the stands they are raising interior walls and concrete the floor force plate.

Protection of the slope between the Volgograd Arena and the lateral motorway to run along the Volga River shore line is currently in progress. Ground leveling of the site area is performed in a round-the-clock mode.
