The Governor of Volgograd Region A. Bocharov Visited the Volgograd Arena

The visiting meeting headed by the Governor of Volgograd Region Andrei Bocharov was held at the Volgograd Arena construction site. The event was attended by the General Director of JSC “STG” Mikhail Khryapov and representatives of the city government and relevant agencies.

Following the results of the meeting Andrei Bocharov noted: “There are no questions as to the compliance with the work schedule. The facility construction progress meets the planned targets”.

At the moment, the pedestrian overpass construction in Sector A of the Volgograd Arena has been finished. The concrete frame of the 123 meters wide central stairway has been installed.

Assembly of the previously enlarged units of the lobby roof trusses totally weighing about 1,700 tons is in progress. At the same time, the builders are working on the preparatory stage of the cable roof installation.

The finishing works, utility networks installation, the slope forming and construction of entrance units on the Volga side are underway.

Over 1300 workers are involved in the facility construction.
