Stroytransgaz named the Company of the Year 2016

JSC Stroytransgaz (STG) became the winner of The Company of the Year / Best in Russia, a national business award, in 2016 in the Infrastructural Construction. It is the second year in a row that the Company is honoured with this prestigious award.

The Company of the Year award was established back in 1999 and is recognized as the most prestigious national business award, which has evolved into a social institution shaping a new image of business in Russia and promoting the up-to-date business ethics standards.

The nominees were picked out in two stages. The analysts of the National Rating Agency (NRA), which has been operating since 2002 and is recognized as one of the leading independent rating agencies in Russia, carried out a research and prepared short-lists to include leaders in various sectors of economy. At the second stage, the Panel of Experts composed of businessmen, national leading statesmen and dignitaries selected the prizewinners.

Today, Stroytransgaz is a major construction company incorporated back in 1990. Over the last 26 years, the Company has delivered projects in 18 countries worldwide, including the USA, the Middle East, North Africa, European, Asian and CIS countries. Stroytransgaz implements major turn-key projects in the power sector, transport and civil infrastructure, including sports facilities.

STG is the general contractor for construction of two stadiums for FIFA 2018 World Cup – in Nizhny Novgorod and Volgograd.

As for transport infrastructure, STG is currently working on a number of projects: Frunzensky Bridge in Samara, interchanges in Moscow Region (Volokolamskoe/Ilyinskoe highways intersection, Lytkarinskoe/M-5 Ural highways intersection), overpass across the railway at the 4th km of Moscow-Borodino-Tuchkovo motorway, rehabilitation of А-104 Moscow-Dmitrov-Dubna motorway.
