Two LED screens installed at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium

Two LED screens, each measuring 153 sq.m in area, have been mounted at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium. The location and specifications of the screens provide a high quality image to the viewers even at the farthest places no matter the angle of view and weather conditions, including on a bright sunny day. STG run a demo operation of the screens for Anton Averin, Deputy Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region, during an on-site meeting at the stadium on 21 June 2017.

“There are two state-of-the-art screens based on the LED technology installed Inside the stadium bowl. Each of them measures 17 by 9 meters. They are intended to show timing, score, video replays,” said Sergey Pichushkin, stadium construction manager. “The screens meet FIFA’s stringent requirements to video systems,” he added.

At the same time, installation of the football pitch and pedestrian overpass, and landscaping, finishing etc. are in full swing. Overall, over 60 types of jobs are being done at the stadium. More than 2000 workers are working at the construction site.
