Stroytransgaz will Repair Engineering Structures in the Moscow Region

JSC Stroytransgaz has entered into a contract for the overhaul of 13 engineering structures in the Moscow Region. The customer is SFI MR Mosavtodor. Price of the contracted works is RUB 318 mln.

Within the scope of the project, STG will repair the over-bridge above the railway near the village of Kolontaevo in Noginsk district, the floating bridge across the Moscow River in Kolomna, as well as the repair of nine bridge crossings and two culverts in various districts of the Moscow Region.

The works will comprise the following:

• Removal and replacement of bridge deck including the installation of reinforcement slabs,
• Repairs of beams, pillars and expansion joints,
• Reinstallation of guardrails and handrails,
• Complete replacement of the asphalt on the approaches and repair of the road base,
• Repair of cones.
• Lengthening and reinforcement of culvert pipes.

For the time of repairs reverse traffic will be set up at nine bridge crossing and over-bridge facilities and regulated by traffic lights or road signs. The floating bridge will be closed completely. Special detour routes will be developed for convenience of residents. Project works are planned to be completed by the end of May 2018.

Signing of the new contract for the repair of engineering structures in the Moscow Region is another stage in the cooperation between STG and Mosavtodor, which has been developed since the year of 2014 in three directions: maintenance of road engineering structures, application and recovery of road marking, repair of bridges. Over the years STG has proven itself to be a reliable general contractor developing projects to a good quality and within contractual timelines. In 2016, JSC Stroytransgaz (STG) completed the project for the overhaul of ten bridgeworks in the Moscow Region by the order of the State-Funded Institution “Mosavtodor”.
