STG will repair a section of Kashirskoye Highway

JSC Stroytransgaz will carry out overhaul of the section of Kashirskoye Highway in the city district of Domodedovo, Moscow Region. The customer is SFI Mosavtodor. Cost of works: RUB 568.5 million 

In total, STG will reconstruct 4.5 km of the highway. The works will be carried out on the section km 51 + 500 - km 56 + 000. It is necessary to widen the highway to four lanes (two in each direction). This will increase the capacity of the highway, which in the future will possibly total up to 60 thousand cars a day. The overhaul will be carried out in a staged manner, without traffic interruptions.

The STG’s scope of work also includes:

• Reconstruction of outdoor lighting;
• Construction of local treatment facilities;
• Reconstruction of the bridge over the Sushka River with a length of 18 m;
• Reconstruction of four sets of traffic lights for vehicles and six sets of traffic lights for pedestrians, which will be equipped with a call button;
• Reconstruction of three culverts and construction of a new culvert;
• Re-laying of existing gas and electric networks;
• Reconstruction of telecommunication networks

247 standard road signs and 14 individual design information signs with a retroreflective surface, metal guardrails, pedestrian fencing with hand rail, and external lighting will be installed in the overhaul area along with thermoplastic marking. Sidewalks with approaches to the bus stops will be arranged along the main direction of the highway, throughout the length of residential areas. The duration of the overhaul is nine months.

The project is executed within the framework of the state program of Moscow Region “Development and Functioning of the Road and Transport Complex”.
