STG has repaired artificial structures in Greater Moscow area

JSC Stroytransgaz has completed the repair of 12 artificial structures in Moscow Region by order of the State-Funded Institution “Mosavtodor”. All facilities have been put into operation ahead of schedule.

As part of the project, STG has repaired the floating bridge across the Moscow River in Kolomna, bridge crossings over the rivers Gzhelka, Vjunka, Makedonka and Nischenka in Ramensky District, the Storozhka River in Odintsovo District, the Vokhna River in Noginsk District, the Dubenka River in Schelkovo District. The list of facilities includes a bridge across the Yauza River and a crossover located at Olympic Avenue in Mytischi, as well as two culverts in Kashirsky District of Moscow Region.

The STG’s specialists have replaced and strengthened the bank seats. They also have replaced bridge floors and asphalt concrete pavements, and installed sidewalks for pedestrians, safety fences and barrier railings. According to Alexander Rozov, Head of the Directorate for Repair and Maintenance of Infrastructure Facilities, the modern technologies and materials have been used to perform the works, and this will significantly increase the service life of the engineering structures renovated.

Stroytransgaz and Mosavtodor signed a contract for the repair of artificial structures in July 2017. It is planned to complete the project by the summer of 2018. By that time, STG will complete the repair of the overpass over the railroad of Yaroslavl direction near the village of Kolontaevo in Noginsk District. The works are carried out here during “track possession periods” (train traffic breaks) which are coordinated with Russian Railways.
