JSC Stroytransgaz presents the photo report on the Frunzensky Bridge construction progress – http://www.stroytransgaz.ru/en/pressroom/photogallery/237/

A large-scale construction of the Frunzensky Bridge is actively carried out on both banks of the Samara River. On the left bank, the builders consistently assembly steel structures for the forthcoming superstructure incremental launching. Since the beginning of the process, which started in April of the current year, a 250-meter structure weighing 3,131 tons has already been pushed towards the right bank by 224 meters. In total, the central segment, which is located between pillars No 2 and No 7, will consist of 11 parts with a total length of 559.7 m in accordance with the updated design solution.

The installation of two piers in Novaya Gavan Bay continues. Erection of the supports of pillar No 3 is being completed, and the basement of structural element No 4 is being built. All eight pillars of the Frunzensky Bridge across the Samara River will be ready when the works are completed.

In addition, the builders continue to carry out early works and construction and erection works at interchange exit ramps of the left-bank transport hub with access to Shosseynaya Street. In total, eight exit ramps will be built. All overpass reinforced concrete supports at exit ramp S-3 have already been erected here. Due to technological features, construction of the superstructure will start only in case of positive air temperatures. In addition to the construction of the interchange, embankment pitching is carried out on the left bank with the use of reinforced concrete slabs, along the main course of the future highway. In parallel, construction of the retaining wall for one of the ten interchange exit ramps is carried out on the side of Frunze Steet.
