STG Completes Repair of Overpass in Noginsky District Ahead of Schedule

JSC “Stroytransgaz” has finalized repair of overpass above Yaroslavl direction railway section close to Kolontaevo village in Noginsky District of Moscow Region. Works ordered by State Institution “Mosavtodor” started in July 2017 and have been finalized almost two months ahead of schedule.

Built in 1980, 63 m two lane overpass is part of M7 regional road “Volga − Elektrougli”. It connects two heavy traffic highways — Gorkovskoye and Nosovikhinskoye. Every day over 30 thousand vehicles pass through the highway. The first repaired section was opened to traffic on November 30, 2017, while the second one on June 30, 2018.

As part of the project STG specialists repaired superstructures and piers, installed waterproofing barrier, replaced asphaltic concrete pavement, built new stair approaches, changed the trench drains, and finalized road marking. New metal guardrails have been installed to guarantee safe and smooth traffic along carriageway edges. The repairs were performed during track possession (49 in total) agreed with Russian Railways.

In July STG signed an agreement for repair of 13 man-made structures in Moscow Region. As part of the project STG specialists repaired overpass above the railway near Kolontaevo village in Noginsk district, the pontoon-bridge across the Moscow River in Kolomna, as well as nine bridge crossings and two culverts in various districts of Moscow Region.
