STG completed the construction of Repair & Operation Station (ROS) in Taishet

JSC Stroytransgaz completed the construction of Repair & Operation Station in Taishet, Irkutsk Region, against the order of TSIUS UES JSC. The facility was erected within the scheme of power distribution of Boguchanskaya HPP. It is designed for maintenance of the sections of five power lines with a total length of 269 km. Construction of Repair & Operation Station was carried out during the second phase of the construction of the 500 kV OHPL Boguchanskaya HPP-Ozernaya. During the first phase in December 2013, STG completed the construction of the overhead line with a total length of 329.9 km.

In accordance with the contract, STG built an Administrative & Production Building, a sheltered warehouse and a garage for cars. The new site will include the newly created Taishet line section of Krasnoyarsk enterprise FGC UES which will be responsible for maintenance, overhaul and emergency recovery. In the near future, a new brigade vehicle based on the Ural chassis, a cross-country vehicle and a low-bed truck (for its transportation) will be purchased.

Taishet Repair & Operation Station became the third station, which was built specifically for the maintenance of Boguchanskaya HPP transmission network. Similar stations were also built in Kodinsk and the village of Dolgiy Most in Krasnoyarsk Territory. Line brigades are stationed here and carry out regular inspections and repairs of 220 and 500 kV power lines which were constructed for Boguchanskaya HPP power distribution.
