The STG’s videos reporting on the construction of the Volgograd and Nizhny Novgorod stadiums have been nominated the winners in the national corporate videos and TV contest dubbed “Silver Threads” under the category “Best Corporate Videos. Technology. Products. Services”.

Over 30 entry applications were received for the contest from a multitude of companies, including MOESK, Transneft, Locotech, Fortum, United Metallurgical Company, Polymetal UK, etc. Following the public presentations of projects, the winners were nominated by the panel of judges comprising communications experts, including Natalya Bogdanova, Managing Editor for Today (NTV), Oksana Barkovskaya, General Producer at Format TV Group, members of industry associations, liaison managers at major Russian corporations etc. The submitted projects were judged according to the following criteria: the concept, information content, adequacy for goals set, efficiency.

The contest panel was not the first to acclaim the STG’s vids - the projects passed a close scrutiny by 2018 Olympics Steering Committee and were listed among other video content that was displayed on the stadium’s screens during the trial matches and 2018 World Cup. By the time the trial matches were over, the videos had been seen by more than 81,000 people in Nizhny Novgorod and more than 83,000 people in Volgograd. During the main matches of the World Cup, the video about Volgograd Arena was played at the host city stand located right in front of the stadium. The World Cup matches in Volgograd were seen by more than 161,000 spectators.

This is the third time Stroytransgaz becomes a contest nominee. In 2016, the company’s corporate image video was named the best Corporate Video, and in 2017 the Special Corporate Communications Project award was given to an official presentation of the company.
