JSC Stroytransgaz to build new exit to the Moscow ring road from federal highway M-1 "Belarus"

JSC Stroytransgaz signed the contract for construction of the motor road within “Rublevsky Proezd – New exit to Moscow Ring Road from federal highway M1 “Belarus” Moscow–Minsk” section. The customer for the project, which is worth 2.3 billion roubles, is the State Public Institution “Road Construction Administration” controlled by the Department for Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of Moscow Region. The works on the project is planned to be completed at the end of 2020.

The section of the new road will start in Romashkovo Residential Complex and run up to the junction to Chistyakova street in Odintsovo (Odintsovo district).

The total length of the road with the transport junction ramps will make 4.2 km. The length of the newly constructed section will make about 1.5 km, that of the ramps will make 2.3 km and two ring crossings will be about 400 m long. The project includes construction of a two-lane overpass over M-1 “Belarus” highway with a length of 94.8 m. The expected traffic capacity of the road will exceed 70,000 vehicles per day.

The project also provides for construction of utility networks, installation of two toll collection points, noise screens, retaining walls, street lighting system, surface drainage and nine corrugated culverts.

The motor road will be constructed under the instruction of Andrey Vorobyev, Governor of Moscow region, which he announced during his address to the residents in February 2018. At the moment, residents of Romashkovo and Nemchinovka have the only option to travel towards Moscow – along Moskovskaya street of Nemchinovka settlement, which causes severe traffic jams in this road section. Construction of the new motor road will reduce amount of transit transport running through the residential area of Nemchinovka and Romashkovo and provide direct exit from new residential neighbourhoods to the Moscow Ring Road.
