Kaliningrad Student Brigades will Participate in the Construction of STG Group’s Facilities

Kaliningrad student brigades will participate in the construction of Stroytransgaz Group’s facilities. A relevant agreement was reached following the results of negotiations between the representatives of STG JSC (M.A. Lunyakov, Director for Construction Supervision, and A.V. Ivanov, Director for Coordination and Supervision of Project Activities) and the heads of educational and non-governmental organisations. A cooperation agreement is currently being prepared between Stroytransgaz JSC and the Kaliningrad State Technical University, the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, and the Russian Student Brigades youth non-governmental organisation.

STG JSC will provide the students with the opportunity to undertake a summer internship at the facilities being built by our company and important for the country. This will allow them to master modern job practices, and the best graduates with prominent results can be employed by the enterprises of Stroytransgaz Group. For university students and the Russian Student Brigades participants, this is not only the unique opportunity to become a team member of one of Russia’s largest construction companies, but also to take part in the implementation of the projects that are included in the country’s national project programme. The museum, cultural and educational complex in Kaliningrad that will include the branches of the State Bolshoi Academic Theatre of Russia, the Tretyakov Gallery museum complex, the Higher School of Music and Theatre Arts, the choreographic academy, the musical school, and boarding schools will be one of the most interesting facilities for the students’ internship in terms of both the unique technologies and equipment used, and the valuable social heritage remaining in the region. The proven experience of participation of the construction brigades from Kaliningrad in erecting the Yantar Hall concert hall in Svetlogorsk will be of no small importance.

The goals of cooperation include: successful implementation of Stroytransgaz construction projects in the Kaliningrad region, raising awareness and, therefore, prestige of the profession of a builder among the youth, and providing the students with the opportunity to unlock their potential by participating in the erection of the facilities required for their home city. In the future, this unique experience will help the students become a professional of their craft who meets international standards.
