The large stand building

The works on reconstruction of the Mashinostroitel central city stadium in Pskov by Stroytransgaz JSC are at full throttle. The customer is the Department of Construction and Capital Repairs of Pskov Municipal Administration. The large stand building

As a part of the first stage of the Mashinostroitel central city stadium reconstruction, the following works are scheduled: dismantling of existing buildings and fences, construction of an administrative building with ticket offices, buildings of a large stand (with a capacity of 2,220 spectators) and a small stand (with a capacity of 2,053 spectators). The under-stand spaces of the large and small stands shall include: locker rooms, showers, bathrooms and coaching rooms for football players, an athletics hall, a fencing hall, a hall for physical loads, aerobics halls with a number of auxiliary facilities required. The administrative building with ticket offices shall include: two ticket offices, a security post, a luggage office, a medical aid station; on the second floor of the building, the project provides premises for a recovery centre for sportsmen and a cafe for 50 seats.

Additionally, the project provides for reconstruction of the large football pitch with running tracks and sport sections, stadium fences, laying of internal area networks, land improvement and construction of passages and foot walks.

On September 21, Mikhail Vedernikov, the Governor of the Pskov Region, personally inspected the progress of the Mashinostroitel stadium reconstruction. During his visit to the site, the Governor was accompanied by: Vasili Osipov, the Deputy Governor, Alexander Bratchikov, the Head of the Administration. Yuriy Strelkov, the Project Director, demonstrated the completed scope of work. Mikhail Vedernikov, the Head of the Region, entered the stadium territory, performed a visual inspection of the buildings and reviewed the supporter seats. The Governor also strode along the new artificial surface of the football pitch and assessed it positively. It is planned to invite the Sport Minister of the Russian Federation to the opening of the renovated stadium.

The works in progress include assembly of terminal electric devices and terminal devices for low currency systems at the administrative building with ticket offices; assembly of terminal devices and doors, fine finishing of floors, ceilings and internal walls, assembly of low currency systems, preparation of the finishing layer on the stands, assembly of terminal electric devices and low currency systems (sensors, announcers, monitors), installation and assembly of sanitary and engineering devices at the large stand building; assembly of power supply networks and electric lighting, grounding, laying of low currency system cable, facade plasterwork, floors and walls fine finishing, assembly of doors and gates at the small stand building; preparation of asphalt concrete layer on running tracks; preparation of asphalt concrete layer on passages, parking lot and foot walks; landscaping of the stadium area: lawn seeding, tree planting, boundary stone assembly and foot walk tile laying.

For now, the completed works include preparation of piping for the systems of water supply, sewerage, heating, power supply and electric lighting networks, fine finishing of walls, ceilings and floors, laying of low currency system cable, monolithic structures, roof covering, concrete floors and external walls, rough finishing of walls, assembly of ventilation systems (air ducts) and gypsum plasterboard partitions, installation and assembly of sanitary and engineering devices, assembly of video surveillance system, metal detector frames and turnstiles at the administrative building with ticket offices; preparation of systems for water supply, sewerage and heating, ventilation, assembly of power supply and electric lighting systems, monolithic structures, roof covering and steel structures thereof, concrete floors, internal partitions, external walls, wall rough finishing, assembly of windows, ventilation systems and low currency systems, plasterwork and painting for the large stand building facade.

Additionally, the completed works include preparation of the systems for water supply, sewerage, heating, ventilation, terminal devices, monolithic structures, external walls, concrete floors, internal partitions, wall rough finishing, assembly of roof covering steel structures, work package for roof covering, floor capping at the small stand building; preparation of sand bed and geotextile, football pitch drainage, assembly of pitch mash fence, disassembly of the existing running tracks and sectors surface, laying of football pitch boundary stone, preparation of running tracks sand bed, rubble bed for the football pitch and running tracks, assembly of artificial surface for the football pitch, surface water drainage, assembly of running tracks boundary stone; preparation of sand bed and laying of geotextile for passages and foot walks, rubble bed for passages and foot walks.

Major work on the stadium reconstruction is scheduled to be completed in the 4th quarter 2020. After the reconstruction, the Mashinostroitel stadium will become a place for training highly qualified sportsmen, mass physical culture and sports work, health-improving physical training and activities, as well as a place for cultural events. The stadium will be able to host competitions at the level of the 2nd division of the National Football Championship (PFL).
