The main complex of works of the 1st stage of renovation of the Bolshoe Savino airport has been completed

Laying the base course of cement concrete

JSC Stroytransgaz has completed the main set of works of the1st stage of renovation of the Bolshoe Savino airport, it includes: construction of the air terminal apron, a ramp for three aircrafts, a parking apron and a taxiway. The total area of constructed sites is almost 37,000 sq.m.

Laying the surface corse of cement concrete

The transfer of the 1st stage of construction of the object to the Customer is currently being prepared. In addition, concrete strength test is run. After getting an approval of the Planing and Surveying Institute confirming the high quality of works performed, the Federal Air transport Agency may issue a permit to operate the reconstructed part of the aerodrome.

Laying the base course of cement concrete by asphalt paver

The 2nd stage of construction and reconstruction of 450 m taxiway is ongoing. Dismantling of the old surface and soil stabilization have been completed. The stone sand mixture and crushed stone are placed in lifts. Currently, the base layer of concrete 32 cm thick is being laid, more than 10,000 sq.m. have already been laid. Temporary shelters are under preparation to ensure works at low temperatures and to continue laying the final surface course of cement concrete 30 cm thick.

Geodetic control of works

The 3d stage of works will start after the commissioning of the 1st stage. The length of the 3rd stage is 135 m. It continues the 2nd stage of taxiways reconstruction and includes the same order and works.
