Video review of construction of MTEC in Kaliningrad (October 2020)

We present to your attention the latest video review of construction of Museum and Theatrical and Educational Complexes in Kaliningrad. The project has been implemented by STG JSC since September 2019 as a part of a special assignment of Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin to make our great culture accessible for Russian people.

The facilities are built on two sites, Eastern and Western, located on both sides of Kaliningrad Stadium that was built for the FIFA World Cup 2018.

The works are being carried out at a high pace, changes on the site are obvious. There are vertical structures already rising on the foundation slab of the future Tretyakov Gallery branch located on the Western site. Installation of volumetric formwork, reinforcement and concreting of vertical structures and monolithic floors are well underway.

Roofing works and building of external and internal walls and partitions are completed in four of the five educational complex buildings. The swimming pool basin in the comprehensive school is already installed and the lift equipment mounting is almost completed. On-site and off-site utilities are nearly finished, arrangement of facades, windows, stained-glass panels and internal utilities in the educational complex buildings are underway. Landscaping and arrangement of sports grounds sub-bases are in progress. Construction of 5 nine-storey apartment blocks and a hostel is going on.

919 workers and 30 units of equipment including 7 cranes are engaged in the works.
