Stroytransgaz participated in the XV National Congress “Modernization of Russian Industry: Development priorities”

The XV National Congress "Modernization of Russian Industry Development priorities” took place in the President-Hotel, in Moscow on the 10th of November. The event was co-organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. Stroytransgaz took part and was one of the partners of the business event.

The Congress is a reputable yearly platform offering an opportunity for entrepreneurs, representatives from power and academia to communicate openly. The aim of the event is effective interaction between business and power, formation of a development program taking into account the interests of all players, formation of long-term partnerships.

The Congress scenario commenced by a plenary session with the key topic “Technology breakthrough. Industrialization 4.0” The main task is to facilitate business initiatives in development, production and export of high-tech products. In his welcoming speech, Sergey Katyrin, President of the RF CCI, noted that official data show that the decline in industrial production in the first half of this year was less dramatic than expected. Growth was marked in a number of regions. Despite the difficult situation, new production facilities are being commissioned in the country, and existing facilities are being upgraded.

Dmitry Kurochkin, Vice-President of the RF CCI, who acted as a moderator of the event, read out to attendees a welcome letter from Yuriy Borisov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. “A very important topic for our country has been declared on the agenda of the Congress - strategic partnership between the state and business, technological leadership, digital transformation,” - is noted in the welcome letter. “Currently, it is necessary to build an effective dialogue between business and power in the context of digital globalization.”

Vasily Osmakov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, read out a welcome letter from Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and outlined the key focus areas of the Ministry in terms of strategic development of new industries and technologies.

The Plenary session was addressed by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in Moscow Government for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, Maxim Parshin, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, Natalya Kasperskaya, President of InfoWatch Group, Alexey Varyatchenko, General Director of the Federal Agency for Research and Development (RosDorNII), Valentin Makarov, President of the Non-Commercial Partnership "Russoft". The delegates from Stroytransgaz Group of Companies were: Pavel Fediayev, Director for Digital Development and Construction Coordination and Petr Zhurov, Director for Procurement and Logistics.

The residents of the Congress are PJSC Rostelecom, PJSC Rosseti, NLMK Group, JSC Russian Railways, State Corporation Rostec and other corporations.
