The construction of a cultural and educational complex ordered by Social and Cultural Projects Fund National Cultural Heritage continues in Vladivostok. LLC Stroytransgaz-Vostok are daily performing internal and external finishing of facilities, connecting them to utility networks.

Electricians are installing electrical lighting networks

Electricians are installing electrical lighting networks in the concert hall of the Choreographic Academy’s educational building – since the beginning of May, specialists have already laid about five thousand meters of power supply networks. At the same time, works are underway at the facility to lay other engineering networks, plaster walls, install stained glass windows, partitions, metal structures, and elevators, assemble heavy roofing equipment, and sandcrete floor screeds. Monolithic works are in progress and walls are being laid from gas silicate blocks in the boarding school for students of the Choreographic Academy.

Plasterers are working on the territory of the Educational Centre

Another 3,700 meters of power lines were laid in the building of the Educational Centre with a canteen and swimming pool. Installation of internal networks of water supply, sewerage, ventilation, and air conditioning systems is in progress. Besides, finishing works are underway here – fire protection of the roof structures in the gym and swimming pool premises has been completed, the builders started installing stained glass windows and are assembling windows. A subsystem and insulation are being mounted on the facades. Swimming pool equipment is being manufactured.

External and internal finishing of the cultural and educational centre is being carried out daily

Since May 1, almost two and a half thousand square meters of screeds have been completed, one and a half thousand square meters of plasterboard sheets have been mounted. Installation of steel structures of the roof, laying of utility networks is underway at the facility. In the boarding school, during the same period, more than 700 square meters of walls have been plastered, over 400 square meters of plasterboard sheets have been installed, and 1,500 square meters have been primed.

Monolithic works are underway in apartment buildings

Monolithic works, installation of window blocks and stained glass windows, walls, and partitions are in progress in apartment residential buildings and a hostel for students of the Higher School.

Cementing of outdoor stairs

Lets remind that Stroytransgaz Group is building cultural and educational complexes in Vladivostok and in three other Russian cities at the request of Social and Cultural Projects Fund National Cultural Heritage as instructed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. In Vladivostok, a large-scale cultural cluster will be located on two sites.

An educational complex with a total building area of over 90,000 sq.m is under construction on Russky Island. It will integrate an educational complex combining an Educational Centre for 550 seats with a canteen and a swimming pool, a branch of the Central Music School at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the Choreographic Academy, a branch of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography.  The educational buildings and boarding schools for students will be interconnected by winterized "aerial" passages.

Additionally, the site will comprise a dormitory for 150 beds, two boarding schools for students of educational institutions and three apartment buildings for teachers and artists.

STG-Vostok will build a large-scale museum and theatre centre at Aksakovskaya Street. It will house branches of the country's largest museums, including the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery, and a branch of the Mariinsky Theater.

At the construction of all structures, engineers has considered frequent temperature fluctuations, possible tsunamis, and seismic vibrations, which happen from time to time in the region.

According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the new cultural development centre in Vladivostok will be a spiritual growth centre and one of the cultural oases of Russia.
