Siberian Musicians Conquering the Sirius

Musicians of the Siberian Branch of the Federal State Budgetary Professional Educational Institution Central Music School at the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, a resident of the Siberian Arts Cluster under construction by Stroytransgaz Group as ordered by the Social and Cultural Projects Fund National Cultural Heritage, took part in a series of summer concerts at the Sirius Educational Centre in Sochi.

Petr Kositsky and Egor Kadnikov are participants in master classes by Andrey Eduardovich Zhavoronkov, laureate of international contests, teacher of the Central Music School at the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky.

The guys passed the competitive exams to be admitted to the Sirius Educational Centre and became participants of the June educational program Musical and Performing Arts. As part of their stay at the centre, young musicians undergo intensive training in their specialty, as well as in other areas aimed at the comprehensive development of the participants’ professional skills.

The Siberians praise the rich creative program of the Sirius and say that they have made many friends, as well as gained vast professional experience.

The branch was established in Kemerovo in the fall of 2019. Now, it provides education to 38 children in piano, wind and percussion instruments, and string instruments. Entrance exams are currency underway for the 2021–2022 academic year. Residents of Kuzbass, the Republic of Altai, and Khakassia are among the candidates.

Let us recall that new modern cultural, educational, and museum complexes are under construction in Kemerovo and three more cities of Russia by order Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation. The complexes are under construction to support the preservation and development of a single cultural and educational space of this country, as well as to enhance the role of Russia in the global humanitarian and cultural space.
