Employees of STG-Vostok were presented with appreciation letters from the Mayor and Chairman of Vladivostok Duma

On the eve of the Constructor's Day, Mayor Konstantin Shestakov and Andrey Brik, Chairman of the Duma of Primorsky Territory's capital, visited the construction site of the cultural and educational complex on Russky Island in Vladivostok. The guests congratulated the constructors on the upcoming professional day, thanked STG employees for their contribution to the development of Vladivostok and presented appreciation letters to the workers who had showed the exceptional performance.

When the guests arrived at the site, the management of STG-Vostok arranged a tour of the facilities under construction for them. Konstantin Shestakov and Andrey Brik were delighted with the scale of the project and wished to personally thank all constructors for their efforts. All employees of STG-Vostok present at the site during the day shift came to the meet the head of the city. Konstantin Shestakov wholeheartedly thanked the employees for their dedication and contribution each of them makes to the development of Vladivostok. “A constructor is always a creator. I would like to celebrate those guys who did their best during this construction, to wish everyone good luck in construction and realization of their potential in Vladivostok. Not only at this construction site, in the future we will build our own schools and kindergartens. Stay here and be a part of it! Believe me, we will have ten a penny construction projects in Vladivostok so that everyone can realize their creative potential,” said Konstantin Shestakov.

The Mayor added that the project for the construction of the cultural and educational complex implemented by STG-Vostok in Primorye is an extraordinary event in the life of Vladivostok as important as legendary construction projects of APEC 2012 Summit.

“Since the Summit construction projects, Vladivostok has longed for monumental significant projects. Now, you are creating a new Vladivostok. People from all over the Far East will come and study here, I hope that from Siberia and Western Russia, too. I myself am from Vladivostok, my children live here and I would very much like them to study in such educational complex. I, probably as a father first of all and then as the head of this city, strongly ask you to build a top-class project. And please do it efficiently and on time," the Mayor of Vladivostok wished.

The Chairman of the Vladivostok Duma Andrey Brik joined in the congratulations and conveyed words of gratitude to the constructors from all deputies of the capital of Primorsky Territory.

"Such projects give strength, life and confidence that Vladivostok is not forgotten by our government, our executives, that it continues to develop. Hats off and kind words of gratitude to you for your efforts. Your professional experience and your, guys, hands are very important! You animate these projects, create the future of our city on the Pacific coast. We show that we are a big strong country that can not only defend itself, but also create something. From all Duma deputies, a big and huge "Hurray" to you," Andrey Brik concluded.

After the appreciation letter awarding ceremony for the best employees of STG-Vostok, the Company General Director Maksim Vedenev thanked the guests for the visit and kind words, presented them with souvenirs and expressed hope that Stroytransgaz cooperation with local authorities will continue to be as reliable and effective.

About the Project:
Stroytransgaz Group is building cultural and educational complexes in Vladivostok and in three other Russian cities at the request of the Social and Cultural Projects Fund “National Cultural Heritage” as instructed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. In Vladivostok, a large-scale cultural cluster will be located on two sites.

An educational complex is being built on Russky Island; its total building area is more than 90 thousand square metres. It will combine an educational center for 550 students with a canteen and a swimming pool, a branch of the Central Music School at Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory, and the Choreographic Academy – a branch of Moscow State Academy of Choreography. Educational buildings and boarding schools will be interconnected by warm air passages. Also on this site, a dormitory with beds for 150 students is being built, as well as two boarding schools of educational institutions and three apartment buildings for teachers and artists.

STG-Vostok will build a large-scale museum and theatre centre on Aksakovskaya street. It will house branches of the largest Russian museums - Hermitage, Russian Museum, Tretyakov Gallery, and a branch of Mariinsky Theater.
