The results of the International Student Team's work in the Kuzbass are reported

The International Student Construction Project "Kuzbass-300" is closing in Kuzbass. Such a unique project is implemented in the region for the first time. 300 students from 13 regions of Russia and the Republic of Belarus work at the most significant projects in Kuzbass. The cultural and educational complex built by Stroytransgaz JSC is a largest project where the Team members are employed.

The students started construction works on July 12; they are scheduled to be completed in late August. Preliminary results of the International Student Team's work were reported at a press conference held in the cultural cluster.

"The project turned out to be very ambitious. Today we are visiting a major federal project; it is one of four projects implemented in our country. It is very nice that our students help us here. On the one hand, it is very honourable that we are implementing this project together. On the other hand, it is a high-level project. We host such project for the first time. Of course, the perception of Kuzbass, the perception of Kemerovo is very important. So that the guys from other regions would wish to return here upon completion of the construction," said Sergey Alekseev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Kuzbass, at a short briefing.

After the press conference, the reporters were able to see the everyday life of students who help constructors at the facilities of the cultural and educational complex; they perform finishing works, lay paving stones and furnish rooms in boarding schools. The students said that participation in the Russian student team movement allows to have a job training, receive their first salary and, for many of them, to learn more about a new profession. In addition, students of various departments and universities worked in student construction teams.

They noted that they are very proud of their contribution to the construction of such a unique socially significant facility and indicated a high hospitality level. The educational part of the cluster, where student construction teams work, is located in Leninsky district of Kemerovo and includes five buildings; choreographic academy for students and boarding school for 150 persons, music school for 150 students with a concert hall and boarding school for 75 students, comprehensive school with a swimming pool for 300 students. The facilities are built in parallel with all required infrastructure. The overall facility takes an area of about 7 hectares.
