Stroytransgaz Siberia JSC to Help "Silver Volunteers" to Unlock Their Potential

The employees of Stroytransgaz Siberia JSC took part in the organization of the Silver of Kuzbass regional volunteer forum. The decision to cooperate was made as part of the company's social responsibility programme. As part of the forum, about 1,000 active Kuzbass residents over 50 years old shared their volunteering experience offline and online, talked about successful projects and what is not working so far. The main areas of "silver volunteers" operations include assistance in providing care to people with limited mobility and disabled persons; child care; teaching everyone to cook, sew, knit, compose healing stories ("fairy tale therapy"), master the basics of folk crafts; keeping records of reminiscences from war veterans and old residents of cities and regions; hosting sports events, concerts, meetings, discussions; publishing their newspapers and magazines, etc.
Volunteers pay much attention to cultural life by visiting museums, theatres, concerts.
They were greatly interested in and enthusiastic about the story of the construction of the Siberian cultural complex. The forum expressed confidence that the museum, the theatre and the cinema and concert complex will be in great demand not only among the residents of Kemerovo; expressed their readiness to help introduce children and youth to cultural values.
The company's employees arranged four master classes for the "silver volunteers" on selecting topics for coverage, the basics of writing media reports, methods to attract the attention of Internet users through social media, and media relations.
The forum is the most important annual event for active seniors who unite in volunteer organizations. The host of the event is the autonomous non-for-profit organisation Regional Centre for the Development of Volunteerism BlagoDaryu.
The task to create four new cultural centres (Vladivostok, Kemerovo, South Russia, Kaliningrad) was set by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in his Address to the Federal Assembly in 2018 and specified in the Executive Order On National Goals and Strategic Objectives of Development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024. The foundation of the modern cultural & educational complexes is a unique Russian educational project that will change the quality of life throughout the Russian Federation through introduction to art.
The developer is the National Cultural Heritage Foundation for Social and Cultural Projects (founded by Mariinsky Theatre, State Hermitage Museum, Tretyakov Gallery, Bolshoi Theatre.
The General Contractor is Stroytransgaz Group of Companies.
The project was developed by the Austrian firm Coop Himmelb(l)au and adapted for Russian conditions and standards by the Russian designer, GORKA Group.
