27,694 sq. m of roll lawn were placed and 3,790 sq. m of seed lawn were sown. 184 broad-leaved trees were planted (including birch and white, curled and crack willows, downy acacias, Tatarian maples, small-leaved lindens); 19 coniferous trees, including spruce firs and pine trees; 305 shrubs of hydrangea paniculata, lilacs, gray spirea, Tartarian dogwood and Pacific ninebark. 1,320 shrubs or 293 running meters were planted to make a green hedge.

Various perennial plants were planted on the area of 472 sq. m. For mixborders, i.e. complex flower beds made from perennial plants, experts have selected the components so that flowering alternates throughout the season from early spring to late autumn. They have also considered the combinations of plants by size, leaf shape and colour. All trees and shrubs were purchased from forest nurseries in the Siberian Region and adapted to difficult weather conditions.

The Educational Complex is a part of the Siberian Art Cluster. It is located in Leninsky district of Kemerovo and includes five buildings, a choreographic academy for students and a boarding school for 150 persons, music school for 150 students with a concert hall and a boarding school for 75 students; comprehensive school with a swimming pool for 300 pupils. The building complex has a total area of 33,807 m2. The facilities are built together with all required infrastructure and have an area of about 7 ha.

The task to create four new cultural centres (Vladivostok, Kemerovo, Kaliningrad and South of Russia) was set by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in his Address to the Federal Assembly in 2018 and specified in the Executive Order On National Goals and Strategic Objectives of Development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024. “I would really like... these centres not to be just beautifully constructed. I want them to be centres for spiritual growth and creative community providing opportunities to our people, including children", emphasized the President.

The Russian President’s instruction to create cultural and educational complexes is also of particular importance as it cares of the future of our society, raising children in a comfortable cultural environment. Children will have completely different modern conditions, including ballet halls, educational theatres, a sports complex with a swimming pool and a gym, a boarding school, classrooms equipped with the latest technology. There are new opportunities for young artists to get an excellent education locally and express their talents.

The creation of modern cultural & educational complexes is a unique Russian educational project that will change the quality of life throughout the Russian Federation through introduction to art. The schools as part of these complexes will have all conditions required for affordable and high-quality vocational training of young talents, who will become the new cultural and creative capital of this country. The project is important for developing the international cultural collaboration and will have a special economic and social significance not only for the region, but for the country as a whole.
