General Director of Stroytransgaz JSC Visits the Key Transportation Forum in the Country

The 15th International Russian Transportation Forum is held at the Moscow Gostiny Dvor. General Director of Stroytransgaz JSC Vladimir Aleksandrovich Lavlentsev participated in the business section of the Forum and TransWeek 2021 exhibition.

TransWeek is the main business event of the Russian transportation industry. The Forum discussed the 2035 Infrastructure Strategy development and heard key speakers, including CEOs of the country's major road construction industries and representatives of the Government.

Stroytransgaz JSC has an extensive portfolio of transportation infrastructure construction projects. The company is engaged in Phase 1 of a megaproject for the construction of a new M-12 high-speed highway (Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod – Kazan). M-12 highway is a strategic road, part of the route from Moscow to Beijing. All regions and countries where the road is built will get a substantial boost and the economic effect is expected to be enormous.

“Today, about 15,000 workers and 6,000 pieces of equipment are already working at M-12 on a 24/7 basis. So, the pace is good. I hope that we will launch the main course by 2023, and ramps, exit roads and landscaping will be completed by 2024," said Marat Shakirzyanovich Khusnullin, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.

At the forum, Vladimir Aleksandrovich Lavlentsev had an informal meeting to discuss issues related to the company's projects with Vyacheslav Petrovich Petushenko, Director of Avtodor Group, Dmitry Igorevich Azarov, Governor of the Samara Region, and other government officials and business leaders.

In addition to M-12, the current road infrastructure projects implemented by Stroytransgaz include the reconstruction of Tupolev Street in Zhukovsky by building an underground Vehicular tunnel and Oktyabrsky Avenue in Lyubertsy, and the company is completing junctions in Krasnogorsk and Khimki. The company builds coastal protection along Portovoye highway in Magadan and overhauls roads and engineering structures in Magadan and Moscow Regions, builds the bridge over the Chusovaya River in Perm Territory.

The company is also engaged in the construction of sea transport infrastructure, including the construction of the onshore and offshore infrastructure in the new Gelendzhik Port. In addition, Stroytransgaz JSC signed a new contract for the construction of Phase 2 facilities of Bagaevsky Hydroelectric Complex on the Don River in the Rostov Region. It has completed the preservation of Pionersky seaport facilities in the Kaliningrad Region, overhaul of Dedinovskaya ferry site in the Moscow Region, construction of Phase 1 facilities of Bagaevsky Hydroelectric Complex on the Don River.

The projects completed by Stroytransgaz include the air transport infrastructure projects, e.g. the reconstruction of the airport on the Solovetsky Islands.
