V.A. Lavlentsev Visited MTEC Construction Site in Kaliningrad

General Director of Stroytransgaz Group Vladimir Aleksandrovich Lavlentsev had a working visit to Kaliningrad. The CEO of the Company, together with the expert committee, monitored the construction of the cultural and educational complex on Oktyabrsky Island.

Special attention was paid to the educational part of the cluster. To date, a comprehensive school for 550 students and a branch of the Central School of Music with a boarding house have been completed, put into operation and talented children already study in new spacious premises. Larisa Vladimirovna Volkova, Director of the branch, thanked Stroytransgaz for the work and noted that the children and their parents are very pleased with the new school and new opportunities. The branch of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography with a boarding house for 150 students will follow.

The construction of a branch of the Tretyakov Gallery is actively underway and in-situ concreting of the frame is 95% completed. Pilot bored pile installation for the future branch of the Bolshoi Theatre is underway. Heavy-duty structures will support the central part of the foundation, in particular, the concert hall and stage.

To recap, on Oktyabrsky Island in Kaliningrad, one of the four large cultural, educational and museum clusters is created by order of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Three other complexes are being built in Vladivostok, Kemerovo and South Russia. The project owner is a non-profit National and Cultural Heritage Foundation for Social and Cultural Projects. The project is implemented by Stroytransgaz Group and designed by GORKA Group.
