The Siberian cultural and educational centre being built by Stroytransgaz commissioned by the National Cultural Heritage Foundation continues to rapidly transform

The readiness of the Educational Centre was personally assessed by Kuzbass Governor Sergey Tsivilev, “We have almost completed the construction of the educational section of the cultural cluster within the shortest possible time. Let me remind you it was originally planned to create clusters in only three cities and the construction of the one in Kuzbass commenced a year and a half later than the others. At the same time, special attention has been paid to the quality of works, because the safety of children depends on it."

The educational building of the Academy of Choreography with a boarding school, the boarding school of the Central School of Music, the comprehensive school are 100% complete, commissioning permit has been issued and the academic licensing process is underway.

The Central Music School is 98% complete. Installation and facade works are nearing completion.

The educational building of the branch of the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts is 64% complete. The floor screed has been installed on all floors, the roofing has been completely installed, insulation of the facade and fabrication of stained-glass structures are in progress.

Finishers are already working in the dormitory where students will live. The works are being carried out by 72 people. They are installing interior and exterior doors and partitions and completing the installation of internal MEP systems. As you might know, the residential 7-storey building is designed for 240 students. Students will live in blocks of two rooms each, with a shared kitchen, wardrobe, WC and shower room. There will be provided rooms for study and rest.

Another important facility of the cluster is a 16-storey residential building. The faculty of the entire Educational Complex will live there. The construction is 69% complete. Facade and finishing works, installation of internal MEP are in progress.

In addition to the educational centre, the Siberian Cluster includes the Depository for Fine Arts Museums of the Kemerovo Region with a restoration centre. It is 74% complete. Installation of internal MEP systems, suspended facades is in progress.

The construction of the walls of the basement floor continues and the installation of the slab of the technical floor have started at the site of the Museum and Theatre Complex, which embraces branches of the State Academic Mariinsky Theatre and the Russian Museum, the Kuzbass Arts Center with a cinema and concert complex and the Atrium, a public space. The total maximum height of the building will be 63.3 mtrs.

Approvals from Glavgosexpertiza of Russia on the first and second construction phases have been obtained, documents for the third phase were submitted.

The Siberian Arts Complex includes: Opera and Ballet Theatre, branch of the State Academic Mariinsky Theatre; Museum & Exhibition Centre, branch of Russian Museum; Kuzbass Art Center, including a cinema and concert facility; Siberian Campus of the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts with a dormitory and the Creative Industries School; Branch of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography; The Siberian Branch of the Central School of Music at Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with a boarding school, a comprehensive school, a museum depository and two residential houses.

The task to create four new cultural centres (Vladivostok, Kemerovo, South Russia, Kaliningrad) was set by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in his 2018 Federal Assembly Address and detailed in the Executive Order On National Goals and Strategic Objectives of Development of the Russian Federation till 2024. “I would really like... these centres to be not just beautifully built structures. but rather centres for self-enrichment and creative community, and for capacity building for the nation, including children", emphasized the President.
