First Performance in Concert Hall of Kaliningrad Branch of Central School of Music

In the Kaliningrad branch of the Central School of Music, the first performance by the students of the educational institution took place in a new modern concert hall. The construction project of the cultural and educational centre in Kaliningrad is being implemented by Stroytransgaz.

The students of the Central School of Music were not alone on the stage, classical pieces were played to the accompaniment of the Kaliningrad Symphony Orchestra directed by Honored Arts Master of Russia Arkady Feldman. This was a kind of test of the new academic stage and a landmark event for the entire Kaliningrad Region. Process equipment and materials used in the music school at the branch of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory are produced in accordance with best international practice.

“As tutors admit, the equipment is of such high level that it seems to be a university, not a school. Huge opportunities are opening up for children, unique conditions are created to support the educational process. Everyone is so excited! Both children and parents and teachers as well," shared her impressions Larisa Volkova, Director of the Baltic branch.

The sound system of the hall exposes the full range of colours of classical music. The room is equipped with premium quality microphones, hi-end professional digital mechanical equipment and stage lighting.

Special acoustic panels are used in the rooms, it is impossible to imagine classical chamber and symphony halls without them. Both performers and the audience will be able to enjoy high-quality sound.

“I have recently been to Moscow, to the Great Hall of the State Conservatory. And these halls have similar acoustics. This is good. The sound flies up and reaches every spectator. And this is what matters. Every time I want to show the piece in the best possible way. This time I did," shared her emotions Anna Sokolova, marimba player.

State-of-the-art equipment is used for the lighting. The same equipment is used at the Bolshoi Theatre, the Eifman Ballet and the Maly Moscow Theatre. Stage lighting includes more than 100 lighting fixtures for various purposes, a control panel and a smoke generator to correctly illuminate any event from a lecture to a concert.

When performing at the best national and international academic venues in the future, the graduates will not see much difference from their alma mater.
