First Concert in Siberian Arts Cluster and Awarding of Stroytransgaz-Siberia Employees

As proposed by Governor Sergei Tsivilev, more than 600 students of Kuzbass children's art schools will attend a concert at and have a tour of the cultural and educational section of the Siberian Art Cluster.

"Kuzbass has always paid special attention to culture and art, so the cluster is very important for the region. This is a most tremendous event in the history of Kuzbass, a huge contribution both to the present and to the distant future - decades from now our talented children will still learn and grow here. The best appraisal is the enthusiastic response of the children, it is the biggest reward and joy," said Sergey Tsivilev.

In total, four concerts will be held on the eve of the New Year holidays and they will be attended by more than 600 schoolchildren from the municipalities of Kuzbass. Students of the branch of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography and Siberian branch of the Central School of Music at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory will show their performing and choreographic skills.

The program will include pieces by Sergey Rachmaninov, Dmitry Shostakovich and Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The young musicians will perform the pieces of classic composers on the piano, clarinet, cello and percussion instruments. The children will demonstrate the art of dance in fragments of The Nutcracker, Coppellia and The Little Humpbacked Horse ballets and in a variation from Die Puppenfee ballet.

The day before, commissioning permits for five facilities of the cultural and educational complex were obtained. Tutors from branches of leading national educational institutions will soon start classes here.

The complex is equipped with hi-end modern equipment from leading international and Russian makers based on the suggestions from managers of the Academy of Choreography and the Central School of Music.
