The Governor of Primorye has assessed the commissioning readiness of STG-Vostok facilities

Oleg Kozhemyako took part in the walkdown of the construction site. The high construction readiness of the cultural and educational complex on Russky Island was noted by Oleg Kozhemyako, Governor of the Primorye Territory. The regional head together with the facility users visited the construction site of Stroytransgaz-Vostok, where he personally checked the compliance with the previously agreed deadlines by the developer, and thanked the builders for their hard work.

As part of this walkdown, the Governor together with Igor Volkunovich, CEO of Stroytransgaz-Vostok LLC, visited the educational building of the branch of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, the educational centre and boarding school for students of the Central Music School. The regional head was accompanied by Vitaly Blotsky, Minister of Construction of the Primorye Territory, and Elena Bronnikova, Minister of Culture, as well as by heads of the branches of the Moscow State Academy of Arts and the Central Music School of Vladivostok Evgeny Bakhteev and Natalia Maltseva.

In addition to the visual inspection, the guests also conducted a practical assessment of the quality of work performed by the developer. In particular, the parquet of the choreographic academy was inspected by a professional ballerina. There were no complaints addressed to the builders following the dance expertise, as the facility meets all the requirements of users!

“The cultural and educational complex on Russky Island is more than 90% ready – the finishing work is nearing completion, equipment is being installed in classrooms. Starting next year, Primorye children will be able to study choreography and music at a high level, with the school, accommodation buildings and service houses for teachers have been built here” the Governor of Primorye said.

According to the CEO of STG-Vostok, at the moment the company has the task of bringing the cluster building process on Russky Island to its full completion – in the next two months, builders will have to complete the procedure for obtaining a Statement of Conformity (SoC) from state construction supervision authority for all cluster facilities.

“We have already received an SoC for the boarding school for the Central Music School students – the inspectors confirmed that the building had been built in compliance with all requirements of the town-planning fire safety legislation, sanitary, technical and other standards. All utilities are connected, start-up procedures have been successfully completed, and the facility is, in fact, ready for commissioning. The buildings of the Choreographic Academy branch and the educational centre are undergoing the same procedure now, and we are preparing documents to apply for other facilities. The objective is to complete this process by the end of 2022,” Igor Volkunovich concluded.

Stroytransgaz Group is building cultural and educational complexes in Vladivostok and in 3 other Russian cities at the request of National Cultural Heritage Foundation for Social and Cultural Projects according to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s mandate. In Vladivostok, a large-scale cultural cluster will be located at two sites.

Construction of the educational complex on Russky Island is nearing completion. It will combine an education centre for 550 students with a canteen and a swimming pool, a branch of Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory Central Music School, and the Choreographic Academy, a branch of Moscow State Academy of Choreography. Also at this site, a dormitory for 150 students is being built, as well as two boarding facilities for students of educational institutions, and three apartment buildings for teachers and performing artists. Educational buildings and boarding facilities are connected by heated skywalks.

STG-Vostok is building a large museum and theatre centre on Eagle’s Nest Hill. It will house branches of the State Hermitage, the Tretyakov Gallery and the Museum of Oriental Arts, Russian State Institute of Performing Arts, School of Creative Industries and the Mariinsky Theatre’s stage.
