Kuzbass Becomes a Cultural Centre of Siberia

Holding a Speech with a Budgetary Message to the Kuzbass Parliament today, Governor of the Region Sergey Evgenyevich Tsivilyov noted that Kemerovo Region is becoming a cultural centre of Siberia, among other things, due to implementation of the Project of Cultural and Educational Complex constructed by Stroitransgaz GC.

Sergey Evgenyevich told representatives of Parliament, business, power, community, budgetary field who gathered in the hall, that in the current year the first students had been admitted to the Kemerovo Branch of the Russian State Institute of Scenic Arts, the building of which is planned for commissioning in 2023. The students arrived in Kuzbass for training from 13 regions of Russia, as well as from China People’s Republic and Kyrgyzstan.

The hostel for the students of the Branch of the Russian State Institute of Scenic Arts has already been built, and outfitting with furniture and household appliances for the apartment building for the officials of the educational complex is being completed.

Construction of the museum depository is being completed as well, and construction of facilities of the museum and theatre part of the complex continues: load bearing structural steel on the first floors of the branches of the Russian Museum, Ballet and Opera House, Kuzbass Art Centre is being installed at a fast pace.

The Governor noted that development of Kuzbass is facilitated by unprecedented support from the President and Government of Russia. It includes the objective of building four new cultural centres (Vladivostok, Kemerovo, Sevastopol, Kaliningrad) that was set by V.V. Putin, President of the Russian Federation in his 2018 Federal Assembly Address and explained in greater detail in the Executive Order “On National Objectives and Strategic Goals of Development of the Russian Federation until 2024”.  

Sergey Evgenyevich highlighted that construction was one of the most important disciplines of regional development, a locomotive for economy on the way to overcoming the crisis.
