Educational Complex on Russky Island
Stroytransgaz Vostok efforts are now focused on completing the educational building of the branch of the Central Music School, the dormitory of the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts and an apartment building, the last three Cultural and Educational Centre buildings on Russky Island that have not yet received the State Construction Supervision Service's approval and commissioning permit. In addition, the construction of the Museum and Theatre complex on the Orlinoye Gnezdo Hill is in progress; the elevation of 30 meters above ground level has been reached and pan floors are now installed.
On Russky Island, construction of the facilities of the academic building of the Moscow State Choreography Academy, the Educational Centre with a canteen and a swimming pool, boarding schools of the Central School of Music and the Moscow State Choreography Academy is 100% completed. Two apartment buildings for teachers and performing artists are also completely finished.
In February, the delegation led by Dmitry Lebedev, General Director of Stroytransgaz Group, Mikhail Balabanov, President of National Cultural Heritage Foundation, and Sergey Gryzykhin, Chief Federal Inspector for Primorye Territory, reviewed the availability of the projects for delivery to their users. After the visit, the executives held an extended meeting with the users of the sites, representatives of Primorye Territory Government, Federal Treasury Department and State Construction Supervision Service, where they reported on the progress achieved and presented commissioning plan of the Complex.
The efforts of the developers are now focused on completing the last three buildings on Russky Island that have not yet received the State Construction Supervision Service's approval and commissioning permit.

"In March, we will focus on completion of the educational building for the Central School of Music, the dormitory for the Branch of the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts and the third apartment building. We are deploying all our resources for this. Then we will focus on addressing users' concerns; and in summer we will be ready for the complete handover of the facilities," said Sergey Mariinsky, Director of Stroytransgaz-Vostok.
Construction at the island cluster is scheduled to be completed at the end of March, and the educational part of the Cultural and Educational complex will be officially launched at the beginning of September.
At the second construction site of STG-Vostok – the Eagle’s Nest Hill – work on the excavation and strengthening its walls is almost finished, the builders are close to completing work on concreting of foundation slabs. Installation of vertical structures is in progress, more than 36 thousand cubic meters of concrete has been cast. The elevation of 30 meters above the ground has been reached in the museum section, installation of the stairs has been started, pan floors are now installed in the Theatre segment and sloping slabs - in the Museum. Preparatory works for utilities installation are underway.
A total of more than 1,100 people work at the two sites.

Stroytransgaz-Vostok, at the commission of the National Cultural Heritage Foundation for Social and Cultural Projects, as mandated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is building a cultural and educational complex in Vladivostok. The construction is underway at two sites.
Preparatory works to hand over the facilities of Russia’s largest campus of culture and education institutions at Russky Island to users are underway: Branches of the Moscow State Choreography Academy and the Central School of Music, the Educational Centre with the canteen and the swimming pool, boarding schools for students, the dormitory for RSIPA students, as well as three apartment buildings for teachers and performing artists will be located there.
The second site of the culture and education cluster is located on the Eagles’s Nest Hill, the highest point in the historical part of Vladivostok. This large-scale complex will accommodate Branches of the State Hermitage, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Museum of Oriental Arts, Russian State Institute of Performing Arts, School of Creative Industries, and the Mariinsky Theatre’s stage.
In addition to the capital of the Primorye Territory, Stroytransgaz Group is building cultural and educational complexes in three more Russian cities. The projects are adapted to domestic conditions and standards by the design organisation GORKA Group.
