As part of Young Builder of the Future Construction Forum, students of colleges and universities visited the Cultural and Educational Complex under construction on Russky Island. More than 60 students from special institutions from all over Primorye visited the construction site of the General Contractor, Stroytransgaz Group, for the first time. Alexander Averyanov, Head of the Construction and Installation Department, STG Vostok LLC, and Evgeny Sheremet, Head of the branch of the Vladivostok Construction Directorate, National Cultural Heritage Foundation, made a tour for students of the Far East civil engineering universities.
Safety Briefing
"We are the pioneers of the largest educational complex in the Far East. This is the Construction of the Century, and I dream of working here. We saw where talented children from all over the country will study and live. Schools of ballet, music, there are transparent warm passages between all buildings. The thing that surprised me the most was the chemistry classroom in the comprehensive school building. This is not just a classroom, but a modern laboratory. There is a separate experiment box with water and electricity connected to each desk. This is a school of the future!," said Dmitry Korkin, a student of TSA PEU Dalnegorsk Industrial Technology College.

The Cultural and Educational Complex consists of a branch of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, a branch of P.I. Tchaikovsky Central School of Music with boarding schools and a comprehensive school for children.
Schools have two swimming pools, a gym and sports halls making it possible to practice almost any sport. Recreational areas and halls are an important part of professional and general education; they have grand staircases and open amphitheatres where students and teachers can meet.
The complex includes three apartment buildings for teachers, artists and employees of the complex, a dormitory for students of the local branch of the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts.
"The facility has already been partly put into operation. By 1 September, the construction will be completed, and the children will start their studies," said Alexander Averyanov, Head of the Construction and Installation Department, STG Vostok LLC. He also added that the children will study free of charge. A total of 550 state-funded places are planned.
Stroytransgaz Vostok LLC is also mindful of students. The Company employs about a thousand professionals, from plasterers and painters to electricians. The company offers an internship for students with further employment.

"The profession of a builder is a versatile one. If a student's eyes are shining with interest, we sign a part-time employment contract, so that they can both work and study after the internship is over. Today, we have four such students working for us, and we will be welcoming new interns in the summer," said Irina Shostka, Senior HR Manager, STG Vostok LLC. During the tour, many students have already been offered internships.
Students had a unique opportunity to visit production facilities and learn more about field experience from employees of the companies. They were able to visit their potential workplace and gain inspiration, if the final choice of trade has not yet been made.
"Here, you can meet the best Russian professionals on one site. You see the scale, and when you are involved in such construction, you feel proud of your work. I also saw the use of innovations in the construction industry, how to make walls for a voice to speak or a floor for a ballet class. Today, the builder delivers not just bare walls to the customer, but a turnkey building, up to the installation of a piano and a bed," said Artem Khomutov, a student of Primorye Multidisciplinary College.
