At the same time, employees of Stroytransgaz-Vostok are completing the installation and strengthening of walls of the excavation pit; by now, more than 310,000 tons of soil have been removed from the construction site. 912 secant bored piles have already been arranged along the perimeter of the future building of the cultural and educational complex.

Another key event in March for the company was a strategy session dedicated to the implementation of the production system across the sites of the Stroytransgaz Group .

During the week of work Stroytransgaz "production landing party" from all over Russia identified several areas that need to be worked out. This is, first of all, the operation of warehouses and the organization of supply of materials to the construction site. The current target status was mapped, the entire system was built in full, weak points were identified. Now, the initiatives have been put to work and will soon be deployed across all construction sites of the Stroytransgaz Group.

Thanks to the work of specialists to deploy the production system, it was possible to identify bottlenecks in the boarding school of the Choreography Academy. Following a study of the improvements, the pace of works at the facility has doubled, and this month it is planned to increase it by up to 4 times.

As you know, Stroytransgaz Group is building culture and education hubs in Vladivostok and three other Russian cities as per the assignment of the National Cultural Heritage Foundation for Social and Cultural Projects as commissioned by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The design of the future cultural cluster was developed by the Norwegian architectural firm Snøhetta, and the Russian designer GORKA Group is responsible for adapting it to Russian conditions and standards. In Vladivostok, a large-scale cultural cluster will be set up at two sites.

An educational complex is being built on Russky Island, its total buildup area is more than 90,000 square metres. It will comprise an educational centre for 550 students with a dining room and a swimming pool, a branch of the Central Music School at the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky and the Сhoreographic Academy – a branch of the Moscow State Choreographic Academy. Educational buildings and boarding facilities will be connected via warm skywalks. Also at this site, a dormitory for 150 students is being built, as well as two boarding facilities for students of educational institutions, and three apartment buildings for educators and artists.

STG-Vostok will build a large-scale museum and theatre centre on the Eagle Nest hill. It will house branches of the State Hermitage, the Tretyakov Gallery and the Museum of Oriental Arts, the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts, the School of Creative Industries and the Mariinsky Theatre’s stage.

Construction of all buildings is carried out taking into account frequent temperature fluctuations, risk of tsunamis and possible seismic vibrations that the area is occasionally exposed to. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the new cultural development centre in
Vladivostok will be a spiritual growth centre and a hub of Russian multinational culture.
