Stroytransgaz PJSC and Syrian Gas Company concluded a contract to build a gas processing plant (GPP) and develop fields’ infrastructure in the central region of the Syrian Arab Republic. The project was implemented on a turn-key basis.
The plant has annual output of 2.2 billion m3 of purified gas, 23 000 tons of liquefied propane-butane annually and 234 000 cubic meters of gas condensate annually.
STG scope of works included well site construction and installation of separators for preliminary gas processing at three fields: Abo Rabah, N. Al Faid and Qomqom, construction of gathering pipelines from wells to preliminary separators and to the gas processing plant, tie-ins into active gas and oil pipelines, racks for tank trucks liquefied gas loading.
Engineering and procurement works were performed by JSC Stroytransgaz.
The GPP was put into operation in 2009.
